The Jaded Monk
An irreverant comedy set in a Tibetan-style Monestary. The Jaded Monk chronicles the grumbling adventures of Chang, a spiritually inadequate monk. Little more than a carreer errand boy, Chang’s plight mirrors the life of a downwardly-mobile office worker. An acerbic wit and a five pack-a-day habit are his only defense against the serenity of his surroundings.
The animated short (5 minutes/ 5 megs) was accepted to the Seattle International Film Festival and the One Real Festival in 2002. Created by Justin Hampton and award winning screenwriter/ director, Brian McDonald.
