'That One: History' painting 60"x 60" in acrylic paint on canvas. This painting was a part of the now historic 'Manifest Hope: DC' exhibit at the Inauguration of President Barack Obama. The image is a riff on the infamous poster Hampton designed for the controversial 2004 ‘Grey Album’ by the super producer Danger Mouse of Gnarls Barkley fame. This peice puts Obama and 150 years of freedom fighters in place of Jay-Z and The Beatles. This portrait was seen on every major news channel covering the event and condidered by many to be one of the pinnacle peices in the showing. Inquire for price |
